Benefits of Blood Donation:

  • Helps Save Lives: Every donation can potentially save up to three lives. Blood is crucial for patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries.
  • Stimulates Blood Cell Production: Donating blood stimulates the bone marrow to produce new blood cells, helping to maintain optimal health.
  • Reduces Risk of Heart Disease: Regular blood donation helps in reducing iron levels in the body, which is associated with a lower risk of heart disease.
  • Burns Calories: Donating blood can burn up to 650 calories per donation.
  • Psychological Benefits: The act of donating blood gives donors a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from helping others in need.

Blood Donation Needs in India:

India faces a significant demand for blood. According to estimates, India needs about 12 million units of blood annually. However, there is often a shortfall, with collections amounting to approximately 11 million units, leaving a deficit of around 1 million units. This gap underscores the critical need for regular and voluntary blood donations to ensure a sufficient and safe blood supply.

The success of the blood donation camp at Shree Renga Polymers SRP Foundation is a testament to the generosity and community spirit of our employees. We are proud to contribute to this life-saving cause and encourage others to participate in blood donation drives. Together, we can make a significant impact and save countless lives.

Shree Renga Polymers SRP Foundation remains dedicated to its mission of supporting the community and addressing critical health needs. Our ongoing efforts in organizing blood donation camps reflect our commitment to making a positive difference. We look forward to continuing these efforts and inspiring others to join us in this vital cause.
